Lord, we desire to be like the wise builder. We long for a faith that stands strong when life’s storms rage. We admit that there have been times when we built on shaky foundations—trusting in people, temporary circumstances, or even our own understanding. But today, we make a new declaration: we will stand on Your Word, walk in obedience, activate our faith, and rest in Your promises.

We decree and declare that we will not leave this moment the same way we entered. The shaky ground of doubt is beneath us, and the solid rock of Your truth is where we stand. We silence every voice of fear, worry, and insecurity, and we release faith, trust, and unshaken confidence in You. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

Have you ever played Jenga? You know, that nerve-wracking game where you carefully pull wooden blocks from a stack, hoping the whole thing doesn’t come crashing down? At first, the tower stands tall, but as blocks are removed—especially those at the base—it starts wobbling. One wrong move, and boom! The whole thing collapses.

Life is the same way. If we build our faith on unstable things—our own understanding, other people’s validation, or temporary successes—eventually, it will come crashing down.

Now, think about a house. Before the walls go up and the decorations make it look beautiful, what’s the most important part? The foundation. A house with a weak foundation might look good on the outside, but when the storms come—and they will come—it won’t stand.

Jesus teaches this exact lesson in Matthew 7:24-27. The storms of life are inevitable: unexpected losses, heartbreaks, closed doors, disappointments. But the difference between standing firm and falling apart is what we are standing on.

Before any great structure is built, there’s a blueprint. God’s Word is our blueprint for life.

Too often, we rush through our days without feeding our spirit. We wake up and grab our phones before we grab our Bibles. We scroll social media before we soak in scripture. And then we wonder why our faith feels weak when storms hit.

If we want a firm foundation, we must commit to studying God’s Word daily. Not just reading—but meditating, memorizing, and letting it shape our thoughts.

⚡ O - Obey God’s Word: Don’t Just Hear It, Live It ⚡

Let’s be real: It’s easy to hear a good sermon and say ‘Amen,’ but it’s harder to live it out. It’s one thing to read about forgiveness, but another thing entirely to forgive someone who hurt you. It’s easy to say we trust God, but harder when the job offer doesn’t come or the bills pile up.

Obedience is the proof of faith. Just like a gym membership won’t get you in shape unless you actually work out, hearing God’s Word won’t change your life unless you live it out.

🚨 Obedience unlocks blessings! The more we align our actions with God’s truth, the stronger our foundation becomes.

🗣️ A - Activate the Holy Spirit: Speak to the Storm 🗣️

📖 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.” — Mark 11:23

When life throws obstacles in our path, we have two choices:
1️⃣ Let the problem speak to us (fear, anxiety, and doubt take over).
2️⃣ Speak God’s Word over the problem and watch it move.

In Still by Bryan Courtney Wilson, the lyrics say:

When storms arise, we must declare what God says—not what fear tells us. If you’re battling doubt, speak faith. If you’re facing obstacles, speak victory.

☕ Activate – Speak to your storm. Declare victory over obstacles.
☕ Rest – God’s got this. Choose peace over panic.
