A Holy Hustle that Honors God

📖 Opening Prayer (Ecclesiastes 11:2; Proverbs 31:16–18)

God, today we pause to position ourselves before You, the Master Economist. You own the cattle on a thousand hills, and yet You’ve invited us to steward what You’ve placed in our hands. As we sip this tea today, let every anxious voice be silenced. Let comparison, confusion, and fear be muted. We come to hear from You—not just about money, but about movement. Not just about resources, but about responsibility.

We thank You for Proverbs 31:16–18—where You show us that it’s not unholy to invest, to evaluate, to build. It’s not ungodly to consider the field, buy the field, and plant in the field. In fact, it's our divine right and responsibility. Let our economy be aligned with Your Kingdom economy. We declare that we will leave this space differently than we entered it: wise investors, bold decision-makers, and faithful multipliers. In Jesus’ name, amen.

✍🏽 A Holy Hustle that Honors God

Have you ever tried to “do the most” financially and still felt stuck?
Maybe you budgeted perfectly, checked all the boxes, and even tithed… but you still felt like your economy was stalling. I’ve been there. I've managed to stretch a dollar like elastic, and I’ve also watched abundance slip through my fingers like sand. And in both seasons, God was teaching me to think like her—the woman in Proverbs 31.

She’s not just a helper. She’s a hustler—with strategy.

Let’s break this down with some divine economics and Ecclesiastes 11:2 in mind:

“Invest in seven ventures, yes, in eight; you do not know what disaster may come upon the land.”

This is God giving us a holy permission slip to diversify. To develop multiple income streams. To stop placing all our spiritual (and financial) eggs in one basket. To multiply wisely—not just for gain, but for purpose.

So let’s go deeper with a visual.
Remember Beyoncé in Homecoming? Every costume, every dancer, every beat had strategy. Nothing was by accident. That wasn’t just entertainment; that was execution. You think she just woke up like this? No, she built her own economy, piece by piece, choice by choice.

Now here’s where it gets real.

The woman in Proverbs 31 is us—but only if we’re willing to stop consuming and start producing. She considers the field—she thinks. She buys the field—she acts. She plants a vineyard—she multiplies. And by night? She ain’t doom-scrolling; she’s stewarding. That’s economy. That’s legacy. That’s dominion.

God is calling you to sow in the morning (Ecclesiastes 11:6) and at night. That might look like working your job during the day, and building your coaching biz at night. Teaching your students in the classroom, and launching your eBook in the evening. Serving in ministry, and learning about real estate or crypto or content creation when the kids go to sleep.

This isn’t “team no sleep.” This is “team strategic economy.”

You are not doing too much. You’re doing what she did. And your seed will not be wasted.

🍵 Real Tea: Truths to Remember

💡 S.E.L.L. your way into purpose—not with gimmicks, but with God-ordained strategy.
Let your economy be storytelling that moves people to transformation.

  1. S – Story: Share your truth, not just your triumph.
“Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story…” – Psalm 107:2
Your economy begins with authenticity. Tell it raw, not just refined.

  2. E – Emotion: Feel it so they can feel it.
    “Jesus wept.” – John 11:35
Emotion is not weakness. It’s your marketing superpower when stewarded well.

  3. L – Lesson: What did God teach you in it?
“And we know that in all things God works for the good…” – Romans 8:28
Lessons convert pain into purpose. That’s where your value multiplies.

  4. L – Launch: Tie it to a product, platform, or purpose.
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel…” – Mark 16:15
Don’t just post it—position it. Let your story fuel your business, brand, or ministry. That’s economy.

🙏🏽 Closing Prayer (Ecclesiastes 11:2–6 + Proverbs 31:16–18)

Father, we thank You that You are the ultimate strategist. You don’t waste seed. You don’t miscalculate the return. And You don’t call us to produce without purpose. Today, we bind every spirit of hesitation, self-doubt, and fear of failure. We loose discernment, boldness, and strategy that reflects Heaven’s economy.

As we consider the fields in front of us—whether digital platforms, coaching programs, products, or ministries—we ask You to confirm the land You’ve given us to invest in. Let our trading be profitable. Let our hands not be idle in the evening. Make us like the Proverbs 31 woman—strong, strategic, and spiritually grounded.

We decree and declare:

  • We are producers, not just consumers.

  • We build economy that honors God.

  • We diversify in obedience, not in desperation.

  • We will sow in the morning and steward at night.

  • We are not waiting on perfect conditions—we are planting with expectation.

In Jesus' name, amen.
